Run a Tournament on Parry

Parry is built to take a tournament from setup to live results. This guide covers the main rhythm organizers and bout committee members can follow on the platform.

Phase 1

Set up the tournament

Create the tournament, add the location and schedule, build the event list, and define staffing needs for referees, armorers, volunteers, and medical support.

Phase 2

Open registration and staffing

Publish event registration, choose whether payment is required immediately, and post any public staffing positions so referees or staff can apply through Parry.

Phase 3

Manage check-in and competition

Use the tournament manager pages for event check-in, late adds, scratches, pool formation, pool-entry scoring, seeding, and direct-elimination tableau management.

Phase 4

Publish results live

As pools, seeding, tableau results, and final standings are finalized, Parry updates the public tournament view so fencers and spectators can follow the event in real time.

Phase 5

Close out the event

Finish each event, review earned ratings, generate the closeout packet, and then complete the tournament so the full history stays available under previous registrations and results.
