An organizer’s provision of your mobile phone number does not, by itself, enroll you in Parry text messages.

We may use personal information to:

• Return users to invitation or tournament pages after login;
• Process tournament registrations and payments;
• Display tournament and staffing information;
• Deliver staffing invitations;
• Record whether a role was accepted or declined;
• Operate live tournament features;
• Send communications that a user has requested or authorized;
• Process SMS consent and opt-out requests;
• Provide customer support;
• Detect fraud, misuse, and security threats;
• Maintain legal and operational records;
• Resolve disputes;
• Improve and develop Parry;
• Enforce our agreements;
• Comply with law and protect safety and legal rights;

Parry may allow an organizer to request that Parry send a person one text message concerning a specific staffing invitation. Before the text is sent, the recipient must have requested the text, initiated the SMS exchange, or expressly authorized the organizer or Parry to send the specific invitation.

When an organizer reports that the recipient provided permission, we may collect and retain:

• The recipient’s phone number;
• The recipient’s name or identifier;
• The tournament and staffing role;
• The organizer’s identity;
• The date and time permission was obtained;
• The method through which permission was obtained;
• The organizer’s authorization certification;
• Supporting notes or records;
• The disclosure version;
• The date and time the invitation was sent;
• Delivery and response information;

We use this information to send the authorized invitation, operate the invitation workflow, prevent unauthorized messaging, investigate complaints, and demonstrate compliance. Permission for one invitation is not treated as consent to recurring or account-wide text messages.

After a user accepts a tournament staffing role, Parry may offer an optional digital form or popup through which the user can consent to receive operational SMS messages for that specific tournament.

When a user opts in, we may collect and retain:

• The user’s identity;
• Mobile phone number;
• Tournament identifier;
• Staffing invitation or assignment identifier;
• Consent scope;
• Consent status;
• Date and time of consent;
• Date and time of revocation;
• Consent expiration date;
• Source page or form;
• Exact disclosure text or disclosure-version identifier;
• Checkbox state;
• IP address;
• Device or browser information;
• Related messaging records;

Tournament-specific consent does not authorize messages about another tournament and expires after the applicable tournament and any limited post-event operational period.

Displaying the consent popup, opening an invitation, creating an account, or accepting a role does not create SMS consent. Consent is recorded only after the user affirmatively selects the optional SMS consent control and submits it.

Parry does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in records, SMS consent status, or other mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing, promotional, or lead-generation purposes.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to providing the text-message program to which the user consented.

We may disclose mobile information to vendors that help us provide and support messaging services, including telecommunications providers, messaging platforms, hosting providers, authentication providers, fraud-prevention services, and security providers. Those providers may use the information only to perform services for Parry or as required by law.

We may make limited contact information available to the organizer responsible for a tournament when reasonably necessary to operate that event. An organizer may not use a phone number or SMS consent information for unrelated marketing, promotional, or lead-generation purposes without obtaining separate lawful authorization.

Message frequency varies according to tournament activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You may also withdraw consent through another reasonable method, including by emailing info@parrypost.dev or changing available notification settings.

Withdrawing SMS consent does not withdraw consent for email, in-app notifications, or other communications. Parry may retain records demonstrating prior consent and compliance with an opt-out request. Read our SMS Consent and Opt-In page for complete program information.

Tournament organizers and clubs

We may provide information to the organizer or club responsible for a tournament, registration, invitation, assignment, or service with which you are associated.

Service providers

We may use vendors for hosting, databases, authentication, payment processing, email, telecommunications, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention, and security. Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to Parry, subject to contractual or legal restrictions.

Legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud or abuse; protect tournament participants; respond to a legal claim; or protect the rights, property, and safety of Parry or others.

Business transfers

Information may be disclosed in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of Parry’s business. Any recipient will remain subject to applicable restrictions concerning mobile information and SMS consent records.

Parry does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

Parry may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, preserve invitation redirects, remember preferences, understand platform performance, prevent fraud, and improve the service. Browser controls may allow you to restrict cookies, although certain features may not function correctly afterward.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service; maintain tournament, staffing, and transaction records; document one-time invitation authorization; document SMS consent and opt-out requests; resolve disputes; prevent fraud; enforce agreements; and meet legal, accounting, telecommunications, and regulatory obligations.

Retention periods vary depending on the information and its purpose. Closing an account does not necessarily require Parry to delete records needed to demonstrate prior consent, process an opt-out, resolve a transaction, prevent fraud, or meet a legal obligation.

Parry uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Parry cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, altered, lost, or disclosed without authorization.

Depending on available functionality and applicable law, you may:

• Review or update account information;
• Change communication preferences;
• Decline an SMS opt-in request;
• Turn off SMS messages for an individual tournament;
• Opt out by replying STOP;
• Revoke SMS consent through another reasonable method;
• Request access to personal information;
• Request correction or deletion;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Request a copy of certain information;

Contact info@parrypost.dev to submit a request. Parry may verify your identity before completing a request. Certain information may be retained when required for legal, security, transaction, tournament-record, consent-documentation, or opt-out purposes.

Parry’s services are not intended for children under 13 to use independently. A child under 13 may not independently create or control a Parry account. A parent, guardian, or appropriately authorized tournament organizer must manage registrations and provide required permissions for such a child.

If Parry learns that a child under 13 directly submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, Parry will take reasonable steps to address or delete the information as required by law. Parents and guardians may contact info@parrypost.dev with questions or requests.

Parry may link to or integrate with services operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

Parry may update this Privacy Policy as its services develop or legal requirements change. The updated date above identifies the current version. Parry will provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects how personal information is used or disclosed.
