Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Parry, LLC (“Parry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of Parry’s websites, applications, communications, and tournament-management services.
By creating an account, affirmatively accepting these Terms, or otherwise using Parry, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Parry.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate and current information, protect your account credentials, and promptly notify Parry of suspected unauthorized access.
You may not create an account for another person without authorization.
If you register or provide information for a minor, you represent that you are the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or another person legally authorized to act on the minor’s behalf.
Children under 13 may not independently create or control a Parry account.
2. Parry’s role
Parry provides technology for tournament registration, staffing, communications, payments, scheduling, scoring, live tournament status, and related operations.
Unless Parry expressly states otherwise, Parry is not:
- The organizer or sanctioning body for a tournament;
- The employer of a referee, armorer, bout committee member, volunteer, or other staff member;
- A staffing or employment agency;
- An insurer;
- A medical or safety provider; or
- The party responsible for running an organizer’s tournament.
Parry does not guarantee that:
- An organizer will hire or pay a particular person;
- An invited person will accept or appear for an assignment;
- A tournament will occur as scheduled;
- Tournament information will always be complete or accurate; or
- A participant, organizer, referee, or staff member will perform satisfactorily.
3. Organizer responsibilities
Tournament organizers remain responsible for:
- Tournament rules, eligibility, sanctioning, and event formats;
- Prices, fees, cancellations, and refunds;
- Schedules, strip assignments, staffing assignments, and event changes;
- Venue conditions, safety, waivers, and emergency procedures;
- Hiring, supervising, classifying, and compensating tournament personnel;
- Taxes, insurance, credentials, background checks, and legal compliance;
- Obtaining authority to provide personal information to Parry;
- Obtaining legally sufficient permission before asking Parry to send a message; and
- Reviewing and correcting information published through Parry.
An organizer may not use Parry to send unsolicited, deceptive, harassing, or unlawful communications.
4. Staffing invitations
Parry may permit an organizer to invite a referee, armorer, bout committee member, volunteer, or other individual to a tournament staffing role.
A staffing invitation is not an offer of employment by Parry. Any employment, contractor, volunteer, compensation, tax, insurance, or similar relationship is between the organizer and the invited person.
A recipient may be required to create or log into a Parry account before viewing, accepting, or declining an invitation. When an invitation link requires authentication, Parry may return the recipient to the applicable invitation or tournament page after authentication.
5. One-time SMS invitations
Parry may allow an organizer to have Parry send a recipient one text message concerning a specific tournament staffing invitation. A one-time SMS invitation does not enroll the recipient in recurring Parry text messages.
Before Parry sends a one-time SMS invitation, the recipient must have requested the invitation through Parry, initiated the SMS exchange with Parry, or expressly authorized the organizer or Parry, verbally or in writing, to send the specific invitation.
An organizer’s possession or submission of a person’s phone number does not, by itself, constitute SMS consent. A prior working relationship, club membership, tournament attendance, or previous communication does not, by itself, constitute permission for Parry to send a text message.
When relying on permission obtained by an organizer, the organizer must certify that the recipient personally agreed to receive the one-time Parry text, the authorization covers the identified tournament invitation, the information provided to Parry is accurate, and the organizer can identify when and how permission was obtained.
Parry may record and retain the organizer’s certification for legal, security, auditing, and telecommunications-compliance purposes.
Unless the recipient separately opts in, Parry will not use permission for a one-time invitation to send additional tournament invitations, recurring staffing opportunities, general Parry announcements, promotional messages, messages concerning another tournament, or ongoing operational tournament updates.
Opening the invitation link, viewing an invitation, creating an account, accepting a role, or declining a role does not independently constitute consent to receive ongoing text messages.
6. Tournament-specific SMS updates
After a person logs into Parry and accepts a staffing role, Parry may offer that person the option to receive transactional text messages about that particular tournament.
Tournament-specific SMS consent is collected separately from accepting the staffing role, creating an account, agreeing to these Terms, providing an email address, agreeing to email communications, and consent for any other tournament. The SMS option is voluntary and is not selected by default.
Declining, dismissing, or failing to complete the SMS opt-in will not cancel an accepted staffing role, prevent participation, restrict access to the tournament page, or affect communications available by email, in-app notification, or other permitted methods.
When a user affirmatively opts in, Parry may send operational messages about the identified tournament, including assignment changes, report and check-in times, strip, pool, event, or role assignments, schedule delays or changes, venue instructions, on-deck or bout-status notices, urgent operational updates, and other information reasonably related to performing the accepted role.
Tournament-specific consent applies only to the identified tournament, does not authorize messages about future or unrelated tournaments, and expires after the tournament and any limited post-event operational period ends.
7. SMS program terms
Message frequency varies based on tournament activity. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account, registering for a tournament, purchasing a service, accepting a staffing role, receiving a staffing opportunity, or participating in a tournament.
Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to request that messages stop. Reply HELP for assistance. Reply START to resume messages where supported and where valid consent otherwise exists.
You may also withdraw consent through another reasonable method, including by contacting info@parrypost.dev or changing available notification settings. Parry may send one final text confirming that an opt-out request was processed.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Parry does not guarantee delivery or timing. Official on-site instructions control if they conflict with information sent by text.
Mobile information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Parry does not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. See the SMS Consent and Opt-In page for more information.
8. Tournament information and recommendations
Schedules, strip assignments, bout statuses, staffing recommendations, predicted completion times, delay estimates, and similar information may change or contain errors.
Users must follow official on-site instructions when they conflict with information displayed through Parry. Predictions, estimates, and recommendations are operational aids only and do not replace the judgment of responsible officials.
9. Payments and refunds
Organizers may establish registration prices, staffing compensation, cancellation rules, and refund policies. Payments may be processed by a third-party provider and may be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices. Parry does not ordinarily store complete payment-card information.
Unless Parry expressly identifies itself as the seller or merchant of record, the applicable organizer is responsible for delivering the tournament or service purchased and administering its refund policy.
Parry may charge disclosed platform, service, or payment-processing fees. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, those fees may be nonrefundable. Parry may delay or withhold transactions when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, chargebacks, legal violations, ownership disputes, or risks.
10. User content and permissions
You retain ownership of information and materials you submit to Parry. You grant Parry a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate Parry, provide requested tournament services, deliver communications, maintain security, resolve disputes, and improve the platform.
You represent that you possess the authority and permissions necessary to submit all personal information, tournament information, waivers, logos, images, membership information, and other materials you provide.
11. Parry intellectual property
Parry and its licensors own the platform, software, interfaces, branding, documentation, analytics, and other proprietary materials. Subject to these Terms, Parry grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the service for its intended purposes. No other rights are granted.
12. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Violate any law or third-party right;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
- Access another user’s account without permission;
- Scrape, harvest, sell, or misuse protected user information;
- Send unlawful, unwanted, or misleading communications;
- Circumvent security or access controls;
- Introduce malware or interfere with platform operation;
- Reverse engineer the service except where legally permitted;
- Discriminate against, harass, or harm another person; or
- Use information obtained through Parry for unrelated solicitation or lead generation.
13. Suspension and termination
Parry may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or tournament operations, protect Parry’s systems, investigate fraud or misuse, comply with law, address payment or identity disputes, or enforce these Terms.
You may stop using Parry or request account closure. Certain tournament, transaction, security, invitation, consent, and opt-out records may be retained after account closure under the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive termination.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parry is provided “as is” and “as available.” Parry disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement.
Parry does not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect offline synchronization, preservation of every record, error-free tournament data, message or notification delivery, the accuracy of predictions or recommendations, or that the service will satisfy every organizer’s operational requirements.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, tournament delays, missed assignments, personal injuries caused by third parties, or business interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parry’s total liability arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to Parry during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred United States dollars.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Parry and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your violation of these Terms; information or content you submit; your tournament, staffing, classification, compensation, or safety decisions; infringement of another person’s rights; unlawful communications; failure to obtain required permission or consent; or an inaccurate organizer SMS authorization certification.
17. Changes
Parry may update these Terms. When a change is material, Parry will provide reasonable notice through the platform, email, or another appropriate method. The updated date above identifies the current version. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute not governed by another written agreement must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Chatham County, Georgia, and each party consents to those courts’ jurisdiction and venue.
19. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without Parry’s written consent. Parry may assign them in connection with a financing, merger, reorganization, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These Terms and incorporated policies constitute the agreement between you and Parry concerning the service.
